Hockney booth

Inspired by Hockney’s photo collages and in particular his work ‘Mother’, we created a special Hockney activation. Within seconds everyone’s photos automatically transformed into a ‘real Hockney’, including strange perspectives, several noses etc. The activation was held to promote ‘Vincent on Friday’, a couple of evenings devoted to the Hockney – Van Gogh exhibition.

Impression of the evening


During the 3-hour event and shortly afterwards we reached around 8.000 people: at the event itself and mostly (7.000) via social media. We likely reached way more in the days after, as people shared their own Hockney photo via social and at home.
